Cookie policy

Last updated:

We keep cookies to a minimum. The site needs a few essential cookies to remember your preferences. Analytics cookies are used only if you accept them in the cookie banner. Until you choose, our analytics collect nothing; if you decline, they only count visits anonymously, without storing any identifier on your device. We don't use advertising cookies.

1.What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a site keep small pieces of data on your device. Both let a site remember things between pages and visits, such as the language you chose.

2.Essential cookies and storage

lt_localeRemembers whether you chose English or HebrewCookie1 year
lt_currencyRemembers the currency you chose for displaying prices (USD, EUR or ILS)Cookie1 year
onesim-consentRemembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies, so we don't ask on every visitLocal storageUntil you change your choice or clear your browser's site data

lt_adminKeeps OneSim staff signed in to the store's admin area. It is set only when staff log in, never for customersCookie (secure, HTTP-only)7 days

These are strictly necessary for the site to work as you'd expect, so they don't need your consent. They contain no advertising identifiers and are not used to track you across other websites.

3.Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

We use PostHog to understand how the site is used and to fix problems, for example which pages are viewed and where people get stuck in checkout.

  • Before you choose: PostHog collects nothing and stores nothing on your device.
  • If you decline: PostHog runs in cookieless mode. It counts visits anonymously without storing any cookie or identifier on your device, so your visits can't be linked to you over time.
  • If you accept: PostHog may set first-party cookies and browser storage entries whose names start with ph_. They hold a random identifier and session details so that visits can be linked, and they enable session replay (a recording of how pages are used) with everything you type masked.

PostHog processes this data for us in the United States. See our privacy policy for details.

4.Payments on Sumit's page

When you pay, you move to the secure payment page hosted by Sumit, our payment provider. Sumit may set its own cookies on its page to process the payment and prevent fraud. Those cookies are controlled by Sumit and covered by its own policies.

5.No advertising cookies

We don't use advertising, retargeting or social media tracking cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent.

6.Changing your choice

You can change your mind at any time:

  • Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page to open the cookie banner again, then accept or decline.
  • Or clear the site data for onesim.travel in your browser settings. This removes our cookies and your saved choice, and the banner will ask you again on your next visit.

If you withdraw consent, we stop using analytics cookies. To remove ph_ cookies that were already set, clear the site data in your browser. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser at any time. If you block essential cookies, the site will still load but may forget your language or currency.

7.Changes and contact

We'll update this page if the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows the latest version. Questions? Write to us at support@onesim.travel. For how we handle personal data more generally, see our privacy policy.
