Our eSIMs connect to partner networks at your destination, which your phone treats as roaming. That’s why data roaming must be on for the travel eSIM. You’ve already paid for your data, so turning roaming on for this line doesn’t add any charges.
Roaming on the right line
Turn roaming on for the travel eSIM and off for your home SIM. Roaming on your home SIM is what causes surprise bills.
